CHURCH NOTICED AND REPORTED SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY...
FBI agents became aware of Shannon Maureen Conley's growing interest in extremism last year after she started talking about terrorism with employees of a suburban Denver church who found her wandering around and taking notes on the layout of the campus, according to the court documents. The church, Faith Bible Chapel in Arvada, was the scene of a 2007 shooting in which a man killed two missionary workers. READ STORY

Violence has entered houses of worship in the United States...
The photo above is the front page of the Longview Daily News on June 23, 1980. A gunman had entered a church in East Texas - the same one my wife and I were married in 3 years earlier - and shot 15 people, killing 5 (click on the photo of the newspaper - notice the bloodstains on the photo of the church bulletin).
Since 1999, over 480 people have died a violent death while on church or faith based property. In addition, thousands of children have been sexually molested while on church or faith-based property (or at church-related events). The Sheepdog Seminars for Churches is designed to help churches and faith based property be prepared against such violence.
We believe our call is God-given, Christ-centered, and Spirit-directed. The effect of Jesus on our lives drives us to take a stand against violence, thus fulfilling the words of Psalms 11:5: "...The Lord hates...violence..."
One of the original callings bestowed upon man was to defend others - to act in the capacity of a sheepdog. This is made plain in Genesis 2:15. Click here to see the truth about this scripture.
Our seminar is now a one-day event (Saturday only) Click here to see the details of the seminar.

"Stabbed...nearly decapitated...left in a crucifix position..."
On Aug. 23, 2009, Reverend Carol Daniels was at her church in Anadarko. Every week she made the trip from her home in Oklahoma City. On that day someone ambushed Daniels between 10 a.m. and noon when police found her body.
Investigators say Daniels was stabbed multiple times, nearly decapitated and left in a crucifix position. One prosecutor called it the most horrific crime he'd ever encountered. Google the name "Carol Daniels" to learn more.

What Kind of Person Will Harm the Members of Your Church? There are 4 Kinds...
It is important to know just what kind of person would come to your church or faith based property and harm, or kill, members of your church. Alvin King (left) had been sexually assaulting his daughter for over 12 years. Knowing he was probably going to jail, he entered a church in 1980, armed with 4 guns, shouted "This is War," and then shot 15 people (5 were killed). He was one of "THE KIND." Read Who Will Hurt You.

We are not referring to "persecution of Christians..."
The type of violence that we address is not persecution for one's faith. Very few of the 440 violent deaths at church and faith based property had anything to do with one's confession of faith. For example, over 80 of the incidents were domestic violence related, such as the one in Coudersport, Pennsylvania where a man shot his ex-wife as she played the organ during Sunday services. He returned minutes later and shot her again to "make sure she was dead." However, we are very mindful of the persecution aimed at Christians around the world (read below)...
CHRISTIANS ARE BEING KILLED AROUND THE WORLD - AND MOST OF THE AMERICAN CHURCHES ARE IGNORING IT...
Though our seminars do not focus on persecution of Christians around the world, we do briefly relate the statistics of how many Christians are being killed for their faith - and we are very concerned about this. Most of the 80 million plus believers murdered for their faith were killed in the 1900s (45 million!) At our seminars, we will ask how many are aware of this number of deaths due to persecution, and inevitably only a hand or two will raise. There are two organizations you need to know about that are helping the persecuted: Voice of the Martyrs and International Christian Concern. Click on the images below to learn about them - and how YOU can help!

They Are Torturing and Killing Christians...
I know this is a horrible picture to look at - and one can only think, "What happened to him?" You are looking at injuries suffered from having acid thrown on the face. The photo is of Pastor Umar Mulinde. Pastor Umar was the victim of an acid attack by radical Muslims on Christmas Eve, 2011. Pastor Umar was headed to church on the day when he heard, “Pastor!” As he turned to see who was calling, the person “poured liquid onto my face as others poured more liquid on my back,” Umar said. As the men ran off, they shouted “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great!) It was determined later that his attackers were Muslim extremists angered that Umar was a former Muslim who was now leading a church of more than 1,000 members. READ STORY
In the Summer of 2013, these two young girls were attending church in Peshawar, Pakistan. They had only recently given their lives to Christ. On a sunny Sunday morning, two suicide bombers entered their church compound. These Islamists waited until the services were over and the nearly 500 worshipers began to gather for a meal together. At 11:45, they detonated their suicide vests and killed 78 people and injured another 130. It was the deadliest attack on the Christian minority in the history of Pakistan. Both of these girls were killed. READ STORY
